CAN WE TALK ABOUT MY FAVORITE PART? WE GONNA TALK ABOUT MY FAVORITE PART

In “Kiss The Girl,” you can tell that he’s starting to have feelings for her, and he even has a chance to just go for it earlier in the song (when he’s rowing, right before the lyric ‘what a shame, too bad, you gonna miss the girl’) BUT HE DOESN’T AND THEN, in the bridge, he tries to figure out her name.

He needed to know her name, one of the most elemental aspects of a person, before he could entertain the thought of being physically intimate in even the loosest sense of the word.
