Just did a little tarot reading for myself by asking my deck 3 separate questions.
1. What is in store for me
2. How will welding work out for me
3. What would happen if I do something else
What I drew [I use the Da Vinci Enigma deck]:
1. Knight of Water [Knight of Cups]
2. Enigma [High Priestess] reversed
3. Seven of Earth [Seven of Pentacles]
My first question and answer seemed like a no brainer, since I have just moved across the country. Though it’s good to see that this was not a bad move, and that more good things are to come. [since the most basic of definition for this card is romance, it could mean that moving on from this break up might lead to something great romance wise]
The second answer has me a bit worried. It could mean two things, one that I’m somehow betraying myself in trying this, or that I just need to remember to keep a calm head and not let myself be swayed [or possibly discouraged] by anything. Regardless of drawing this, I am going to give welding a try, as I can earn a lot of money doing it and even after I’m done and have saved all my money for something I really want to do [go to school for massage therapy, moving to Halifax, etc], I can take those skills and apply them creatively with cosplay and possibly something else.
The third one is interesting, it implies that by doing something other than welding, I could still earn a lot of money. This could also be referring to when I’ve worked a few years in that field and move on to taking massage therapy and starting that. I left my question too vague, and my deck responded in kind.
I’ll ask it again later with two clear questions regarding it. “How would things go if I don’t go with welding, but with something else” and “How would things go after I’ve saved money from working in welding and moved on to something else”.
