Things happened last night that I never actually expected to happen in my own life;

After having a few drinks with my sister, I had planned on just crashing when I got home instead of joining the halloween party my landlord/house mate was throwing. When I got there, I said ‘fuck it, I’m already drunk and might as well meet a few people and make some friends’

And it looks like I did. These guys were pretty awesome and made me feel welcome and included. [tbh, wasn’t quite expecting that. I was worried that I’d just awkwardly stand there, but I guess Drunk me is pretty chatty] Alcohol was great social lubricant and we were all laughing and talking.

The party moved over to a near by bar, and as I was getting out cash to pay for my cover, I’m told that it was already paid for by someone [another thing I never expected to happen], I found out who it was, one of the guys from the party who we were all with and same guy paid for my first drink.

There was drinking and dancing, one of the girls we were with made sure I didn’t feel left out with the dancing and pulled me over to dance with them, and one of the other ladies made sure we all were with someone from the party to not get separated [smart partying]

I went back to get another drink, and as I went to pay for it, the bartender said I didn’t have to [this has never happened to me before, like holy shit]

Once that drink is done, one of the party goers swapped out my empty glass, looking back I’m pretty sure it was the same guy who got me in and paid for my first drink

We all got back home, and it kinda became a bit of a blur? I remember massaging a girl’s wrist, my sweater being unzipped and I made a joke that the massage was a handjob, and I remember 3 of the guys who were watching had their pants down, we all laughed and the night ended.

I had a night that I only read about happening to other people, and on TV and movies. Attractive people.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the party was in costume?

Last night was probably some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time, and it was with people who started off as strangers.

For some reason, I feel I need to add this: PARTY SMART GUYS, If you’re with a party, try to stick with at least one person from them if the group separates. And always make sure you have a way home.
