For dragons with Gembond, if the gems aren’t periodically removed this can happen. At least how I think of it. I know that they can get Gembond from an Onyx Cobra bite, but other then that I haven’t seen much about how it progresses. I love that Osiem drew this, it’s exactly what I’ve always imagined happening ❤
