because the other two posts were a bit cluttered, here’s a compilation of reasons why not to support fenxshiral and not to use project elvhen in your work:

• fenxshiral intentionally wrote elvhen to be ace/arophobic. the word in his project for aromanticism is equivalent to the word for psychopath. any attempts at disputing his justification for that are just met with him saying it’s his headcanon/him calling people countering him “drama”.

  In terms of aromanticism, this is a concept that would be very hard to parse in Elvhen, because the language revolves around poetry, thought, emotion and only speaking when you mean what you say. Not being able to feel love would be a concept very foreign to the vast majority of Elves

• Assumes that the Dalish wouldn’t have a renaissance like the elvhen had, assuming that heteronormativity/gender binaries/etc. are the starting point for all cultures and the Dalish must be at that point because “dragon age cultures are close-minded”. Even though, canonically, sexuality in thedas is shown to not be a huge deal, and relationships which are still commonly hated today are readily accepted/common in-universe. Kind of rings like he views nomadic peoples as primitive imo, which – considering he’s white – is a red flag.
• Does not believe that thinking someone is broken because of their sexuality and trying to fix them is a form of hate. (Even though Dorian’s entire plotline is about his dad thinking he’s broken and trying to fix him and how intention doesn’t compensate for action.)
• Treats Lesbians/Gay people wanting homosexual-specific terminology like a burden he was worn down by, because it’s really really important to him that elves not have words for homosexuality, apparently.

• tags female-on-female sex as “lesbian” on his nsfw blog, because only lesbians have sex with other women.
• he also accepts nudes from teenage (18+, but still teenage) girls, even though he’s nearly 30. (nsfw warning on 1st link)
• He’s even commented on how he’s more about “emotional maturity” than age. Just, wow. like, i’m a 21 year old lesbian and even i won’t have sex with teenagers because imo it’s predatory. they might be legal but they’re still very young women, and them crossin some imaginary number threshold don’t make it less wrong to be a full grown near middle-age adult male jackin off to high schoolers.
• He’s got a “teacher/master” kink. Considering he’s into high school/college freshman-aged women, and has reblogged pictures of “teen lesbians” … yikes.
• Thinks asexuals who at all want sex are not asexual. he clarifies that he “totally meant asexuals who feel sexual attraction arent ace” when called out. which, yknow, still aint quite right.

this isn’t even getting into the fact he’s known to ignore canon because he thinks he can write elves/elven culture better than bioware, like this is just from two searches on his blog – there could be way more.

 it should be noted that he identifies as bi/pan, but that doesn’t excuse his blatant homophobia, his weird fetishism of very young girls/his followers, or his attempts at making a nomadic culture intolerant and hateful because they aren’t ‘modern enough” to have values that are not traditionally Western ideals of heteronormativity/gender/etc.

all in all he’s got some major personal issues, on top of just being kind of a creepy guy, and i’d really advise against promoting him by using his work. parsing the wiki sucks, but i’d rather do that than let this guy’s stuff within a hundred feet of anything i write.
