some DA things that make me emotional
- Iron Bull protecting Krem when he didn’t even know him at the time, losing an eye in the process and not once ever blaming Krem or making him feel guilty for that loss.
- just Iron Bull’s fierce protection of Krem in general. And how adamantly he corrects the inquisitor if they use the wrong pronouns.
- Zevran begging the warden for his life when he didn’t even want it and then later telling the warden that whatever he hoped to find by leaving Antiva, that he’s found it. The warden, romanced or not, helped give Zevran the will to live
- the fact that when he was younger Zevran ran off to try and join a Dalish clan. He tried to get away from the Crows and never wanted anything to do with that life despite how he excelled at it
- If the warden tells Zevran it sounds like he’s been through a lot he says: “They’re just old scars and nothing more you’ll see, ignore them as I do and perhaps they’ll go away” dude that breaks me every. single. time.
- TAMLEN, JUST EVERYTHING ABOUT TAMLEN.
- Varric having such a big heart that it pisses him off. He doesn’t make a good spymaster because he worries too much about his spies, their well-being and their families’ well-being
- Varric paying off the gangs in the undercity to protect Anders and also making sure Merrill was safe and always found her way home
- Leliana mentioning in Inquisition that the warden is the only person she truly trusts
- how Varric, Dorian and Iron Bull pretty much take Cole under their wing and try to help him to be more human. They actually try and understand him before they judge him
- Cole telling Bull how he’s made things easier for Krem. ie. “The armor is right but the body isn’t. You make it better”

Zevran: offers the warden a ‘massage’ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Zevran: actually ends up completely focused on the massage because ‘holy shit why is your whole body so tense, this must be quite painful, okay let me try to fix this, this is more of an emergency than I thought’

- You recognize that Cullen joined the Templar Order at the age of 13 for altruistic reasons.
- You recognized that he was brutally tortured in the line of duty by an abomination and untold horrors, while he was still pretty new to the Order and pretty young.
- You recognize that the PTSD resulting from said torture made Cullen into a man whose fear resulted in his dehumanization of mages.
- You recognize that Cullen was compliant in some pretty horrible things with the Templar Order and Knight-Commander Meredith in Kirkwall.
- You recognize that he eventually realized the Templar Order he had wanted to be a part of since he was a young boy is no longer the Templar Order he is a part of while he’s in Kirkwall.
- You recognize that Cullen willingly left the Templar Order, knowing full well that to quit taking lyrium is likely a death sentence.
- You recognize that Cullen is still working through his distrust of mages in the beginning of Inquisition.
- You recognize that he treats a mage inquisitor with respect.
- You recognize he is truthful with the inquisitor
about his past, even if they are a mage.
- You recognize he is fearful of allying with mages if you choose In Hushed Whispers, but he will respect the inquisitor’s decision.

No I’m not crying!
So I had nothing better to do than design custom formal wear for everyone in the Inquisition. It took me a while, especially because I wanted to keep some semblance of the lines they usually have on their regular outfits/armors, and incorporate those into an elegant design.
I also wanted to have some similarities for each class: mages have tuxedo tails on their coats and the raised shoulder covers; rogues have a lot of V shapes and the most color white on their outfits; warriors have lots of black and gold and they all have the golden epolettes – Blackwall’s are actually stylized into Griffon wings; and the advisors wear a lot of white to set them apart and they all have a large Inquisition crest/logo on the back of their capes.
