What’s that? A place in Thedas where mages have more power and DON’T abuse it???

I want to reblog this cause it was late last night when I posted it, but the implications of this are huge. 

There is an area in Thedas where mages have wealth and power and political sway and don’t abuse it. This area also has the most well-schooled mages outside of Tevinter. 

When we talk about magic in Thedas, we shouldn’t be talking about the Chantry/Orlais versus the Imperial Chantry/Tevinter. We need to talk about Nevarra.
