Ke$ha is a perfect example of how the media loves to make intelligent girls seem dumb and bitchy even though they are actually smart and caring. Ke$ha isn’t far from being a feminist icon but the media continues to label her as a dumb drunk party girl.
and Ke$ha is all for loving yourself and equality but she continues to receive harassment from mainstream media. Enough harassment to the point that she developed an eating disorder because of it. She is an example of how horrible and sexist the music industry is.

I am such a huge fan of Idina Menzel. Like, huge. So I thought “what if I mashed up Let It Go and Defying Gravity?” And that’s what I did. They’re in complimenting keys, so a lot of hard work was saved by me not having to transpose anything. Granted, I broke some music theory rules about chord progressions and all that, but honestly, I think it sounds pretty cool so it’s all good. I think the name for an Elsa/Elphaba crossover is Elsaba, so this is me being Elsaba I guess. 🙂
Everything you hear is my voice. I thought about accompanying myself on piano, but I thought it’d be much cooler if I also sang the background music. So I did. And at the end, I left the “diva notes” unaccompanied because I think big belts like that can speak for themselves. The recording quality isn’t the best because it’s done on my laptop (with Garageband—I know) but I tried really hard to polish it up.

Tangyuan, a homophone of and frequent metaphor for reunion (团圆 tuán yuán) is a Chinese food made from glutinous rice flour. It’s cooked and served in boiling water (Some will put brown sugar and ginger). Tangyuan can be either small or large, filled or unfilled, sweet or salty. They are traditionally eaten during the Lantern Festival (the 15th also the last day of Chinese New Year celebration) and the Chinese Winter Solstice Day (冬至).
Historically, a number of different names were used to refer to tangyuan. During the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty, the name was officially settled as 元宵 yuán xiāo (derived from the 元宵节 Yuán xiāo jié , the Chinese name for Lantern Festival). Now the name “Yuanxiao” for this food is commonly used in northern China.
Traditional sweet fillings for tangyuan can be :
Black sesame paste – the most common filling
Red bean paste
Chopped and sugared peanuts, taros or yams.
Nowadays, both the fillings and glutinous rice coats are much more various in colors and flavors such as chocolate, green tea and many kinds of fruit flavors.
