Kaidan could hardly believe his eyes as he watched Shepard go drink for drink against Wrex. He couldn’t remember when they had changed to a strange green liquor for their shots, but he was just sober enough to realize that if he were to try and keep up with the pair, he’d end up getting his stomach pumped. He doubted anyone would be able to go drink for drink with Charisma Shepard or Urdnot Wrex.

After the fifth shot of the suspiciously green booze Shepard downed, she slipped off the bar stool and erupted into a fit of giggles, everyone laughing along with her as she tried to stand up again, managing only to rest her arms on the seat of the stool. Kaidan stumbled his way behind her, hooking his arms under hers and lifting her up against him. She was still giggling as she turned herself around in his arms to plant a sloppy wet kiss on the biotic’s lips, murmuring drunken promises about what she wanted to do with him when they get back upstairs and alone. Kaidan kept Charisma against him, grinning as she started going into vivid details of what she wanted to do and he silenced her with his own kiss, not quite as sloppy as Char’s initial kiss, though there was enough alcohol in him that it wasn’t as controlled as his usual kisses were.

Kaidan was vaguely aware that their companions had cleared out of the apartment, realizing that they were alone after hearing the soft hiss of the door closing behind them and silence fell over the couple. The alcohol in his system fueled the boldness already growing inside him, as he lifted Char up onto the bar and stepped between her legs and kissed her again, mind racing with everything he was planning to do right there, and right then.
