isabela the mage, whipping up weather magic to avoid those that would dare chase her across the sea. she’d zap bandits down with a keen grin, looking just like a vengeful goddess descended from on high.
anders the rogue, drifting in and out of the shadows as if they were made from the same stuff. he’d have all kinds of homemade explosives and poisons ready to deploy in an instant.
merrill the warrior, strolling confidently around lowtown with a broadsword at her back. she’d be a champion for elves in danger, striking down corrupt guards and handsy nobles looking for a good time.
fenris the mage, refusing to use his maker given talents unless absolutely necessary. forever fearing the monster he might become.
and aveline the battlemage, putting up walls of thick ice between herself and the enemies, and bethany the powerful warrior with enormous shoulders, and carver the cranky mage, whom bethany always wins against in hand-to-hand combat—and sebastian vael, secretly a mage, skilled with bow and arrow, but sent to the chantry to avoid bringing shame to his family—and varric the warrior, with bianca the ballista, launching powerful projectiles into enemy ranks…
