my heart broke for him the moment i read that, after battling with different courses of medication and incidents at school, josh actually once attempted to take his own life.

for an entire year josh washington was mentally scarred, tortured and entrapped by his post-traumatic stress disorder, hallucinations and memory loss; reduced to a mess of distorted emotion after the disappearance of his sisters.

i don’t think that some of us fully understand the intensity of josh’s illness, or even comprehend the pure hell he must have endured in those 12 months that had even led him to attempt suicide.
