elaadens:

To Vivienne, there are no impractical clothes, only impractical people. Her magnificent attire is a sign of her station, the jewel of the high court of Orlais where wealth, power, and beauty are inextricably linked.
A thousand arrows would pierce her breast before Vivienne would don beaten steel for so base an urge as protection. If one must wear armor, then have it flatter the form. Hide it beneath fine fabrics more becoming of one’s status, for steel alone will not protect you from the barbed tongues of Orlais.
To dress for comfort or purpose is a scandal—fashion and splendor are all that matter to Vivienne. Shower yourself in gold, let only the finest silks grace your skin, and wear a king’s ransom in pearls and silver upon your feet. Leave the stained tunics and rough cloaks to the commoners and their mud farms–a proper Orlesian climbs mountains in her evening gown, standing taller at the summit in her formidable high-heeled shoes. Signal boosting in case anyone needed to know this.

This is informative as heck. Show this to everyone!

This is actually some great info! Why can’t they teach this kind of thing in school??

Wow, I’ve taken health and sex ed three times during my educational process and never learned any of this. Thanks.

Definitely some important information here!

this is supa awesome.  i do think it should be noted that side effects of EC *really* vary.  when I took EC I didn’t have any symptoms whatsoever.

Its really sad that in my country we don’t have EC pills because people still believe it is like an abortion. I have even heard of health professionals saying that! Ugh…

I’ve had to take this twice, and I just felt a bit out of sorts – the way you do when a heavy period is on its way.

And in the UK there are two ways to get hold of it.

Go to your GP’s walk-in, or a women’s health, or sexual health clinic, and you can be prescribed it.

Alternatively you can buy it at a chemist counter. They should take you to  a small consulting room/ quiet corner and ask you briefly your medical history so they know whether they’re safe to sell it to you. They will also talk to you about other methods of contraception. So don’t feel like they’re trying to lecture you, it’s just what they have to do when they sell it. It is more expensive when you buy it without a prescription (the last time I bought it I paid about £22.00 for it) but it’s the quickest way to get hold of it.

EDITED TO ADD

It’s called Levonelle in the UK, so if you’re feeling awkward about asking for ‘the morning after pill’ or ‘emergency contraception’ in the chemist, just ask for the brand name and they’ll know what you mean.

I’d just like to point out that 50 Shades of Grey was Twilight fanfic and Twilight was inspired by Muse so when you think about it, it’s kinda because of Muse that 50 Shades was written in the first place oh

And Muse came from England which traces its roots back to the Anglo-Saxons and Romans, so really, in the end, Julius Caesar wrote 50 Shades of Grey.

someone should totally just stab caesar

you go girl
